How Your Gift Changes Lives

Through its Boys & Girls Clubs, The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte has served children for more than 85 years, making it one of the most experienced and trusted providers of out-of-school-time programs for children in grades K–12 in Mecklenburg and Union counties.

Daily Snacks

Every day, we provide snacks for our members to give them the energy boost they need for the day. You can provide snacks for a child for a week, a whole Club for a day or a whole Club for a week.

Through programs such as Money Matters, our Club members learn financial responsibility and basics such as budgeting, saving and investing.

Sports Equipment

Physical fitness is a key focus area for our Clubs. We want to ensure that children stay active and healthy. You can support these efforts with a contribution to ensure we have adequate sports equipment such as soccer balls, basketballs and sports uniforms.

Send a Kid to Camp

Our Club programs ramp up even further in the summer, as we offer a full summer day camp at an affordable weekly cost. In addition, we offer children a weeklong traditional camp experience at Camp Walter Johnson in Denton, N.C. You can send a kid to camp, or sponsor a whole summer of camp for a child.
